Course Information

The immediate supervisor performs a pivotal role. They are tasked to attract, retain and prepare the people around them. He or she connects an employee to senior management and vice versa, becoming the primary conduit for the flow of information within an organization. From the Top-down, management imparts its goals and values through the supervisor who can best explain to individuals what these mean and how they may affect employees. From the Bottom-up, the immediate supervisor ensures that employees’ voices are heard, listens to their concerns and responds appropriately, and passes that feedback to senior management. Today’s fast paced managers are driven by both technical and non-technical abilities. Join us to discover the framework necessary to become the manager that others will trust and respect.
